Quote

Quote of the Day

Fall in love or fall in hate.

Get inspired or be depressed.

Ace a test or flunk a class.

Make babies or make art.

Speak the truth or lie and cheat.

Dance on tables or sit in the corner.

Life is divine chaos. Embrace it. Forgive yourself. Breathe. And enjoy the ride…

~ Solbeam

Goodbyes

Goodbyes are so bitter sweet.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s better to not have met at all rather than to say goodbye so soon…but then I think of how much I have learned and grown. Those precious memories may be as fragile as glass but what is inside them will remain forever. I am the person I am because I lived, met people, and said goodbye. As sad as it may be, I cannot (or rather will not) stay in one moment for the rest of my life (now that would be truly pitiful).

How am I to have more unforgettable moments in the future if I am so hungover on the present or the past? The future is a treasure trove of moments yet to come that I fully intend to take. I will raid all that I can until the loot is all gone, until I am no more in this form. Before then, I intend to live as I breathe, constantly going with the flow – whether it take me up or down is a matter beyond me; I’m just in it for the ride.

Hello Again

So I realize it’s basically been a year since I’ve last posted on this blog (and a lot can happen in a year!) but I’ve decided to start fresh and give blogging another go…hence the new blog name, etc.

Nevertheless, I will try to write posts about this past year, as this past year has truly been one hell of a ride.

They say that one can only sink so low or soar so high, but I am here to tell you that they’re wrong: this past year has been proof of that for me. There will always be a lower low or a higher high. In the end though, all that’s left behind are memories of a crazy ride…an  intense life.

On another note, something that has not changed since my last encounter with this blog is my intense love of quotes, and so in order to start off my reappearance on the right foot, here is a quote that describes the biggest life lesson I learned this past year:

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

~ Confucius

NOTE: It is only fair to credit images, etc. that I use whenever I can, so I will try to typically point out the original source of the material used. If any mistakes are made, let me know so I can fix it!
